winners! and round 3
Again, 6 comments on my last destash post, and another roll of the dice came up with 3 and 5. Congratulations, Jess and Naycha! I'm madtownmama on Ravelry, so PM me with your address, and I'll get your yarn sent off in the next couple of days.
It's really fun reading everyone's comments. I should do this more often. Ready for the third and (for now) final destash round?

First up, more Valley Yarn Superwash DK, again nearly three skeins. The color is a dark brown (not quite as dark as in the photo - I would say the picture on the WEBS website is quite accurate). I have this leftover from this sweater I made for Anya. She loved it and wore it often before she outgrew it and we passed it on to someone else.
Next, three skeins of elann.com 100% bamboo. One is missing the label, but it's all there. (I have no idea why I bought it, especially this color. I think I must have been on a sugar rush and gone to the elann.com website or something. Fortunately, that doesn't happen often.) It's a deep coral, lovely on some people, but completely and totally wrong for me. I think I meant it to be a gift for someone, but I don't even remember what or for whom. It's fingering weight, nice and silky feeling. This would make a lovely warm-weather scarf or baby tank top or...I don't know...whatever you like, I guess!
To enter, leave a comment answering the following question: Who is your favorite person to knit for? I'll pick winners around 9pm CST Thursday evening so I can get all the yarn from the destash posts sent out on Friday. Aaaaand GO!

I really like the bamboo yarn. I think it is nice to sometimes push yourself out of your normal color comfort zone, even if it feels like a mistake later.
I love to knit for my daughter, my husband and my mom. My mom is the most appreciative because she is an artist/crafter/knitter/and anything creative you can think of, so she understands the work and love that goes into knitting. Not that my husband and daughter aren't appreciative, but you know how it goes.
Oh, and I'm so happy I won yesterdays giveaway! I'll PM you shortly.
