and the winners are...
...Katie, Jen, Jessi, and bethemarsh! My random number generator was Stuart.
Me: Stu, I have this blog contest to give away the yarn I've been dyeing with Daniel.
Stu: Uh-huh.
Me: So the winners are the first commenter and 3 others chosen at random. I don't have a random number-generator, so I want you to pick the numbers.
Stu: I'm sure there's a free app online someplace if you just google it-
Me: I don't wanna. Just pick three numbers, okay?
Stu: Uh....6...1...
Me: You can't pick 1. 1 already won.
Stu: Oh. Right. Uh....6...3...9...Wait, that's not very random is it?
Me: Doesn't matter. You don't know who left which comments. 6, 3 and 9 it is.
As luck would have it, all 4 winners picked different colors as their favorites! I was kind of afraid I'd have to dump that orange (and it is a lovely orange, just very very bright. You could make a safety hunting vest out of it for a Barbie doll...not that I'm suggesting you do...) on someone who wanted a different color, but it all worked out.
Now, the logistics. Katie and Jessi are people I know in real life, so they're all set. Jen and bethemarsh, please either pm me on Ravelry (I'm madtownmama there) or send me an email (madtownmama...at...gmail....youknowtherest) with your snail mail addy. I hope to have the yarn sent out this week.
Thanks for entering, everyone! I found a few new blogs this way and I really enjoyed reading everyone's comments.
