fighting the winter doldrums

This week has only gotten worse. Here's a view of that blanket from the ER late last night:

Daniel got sick yesterday, really sick. It was so bad I had to take him in to the ER to get rehydrated. He is still in miserable shape today, but I think the worst is over. This too shall pass.
