Hiatus...
Dear readers...all three or four of you...
I probably won't be posting on this blog for a few weeks. Posting, as you may have noticed, has been a little thin lately anyway, what with my Busy Life getting in the way. I have a legit reason for this, though. Later this week I'm leaving with my toddler son Daniel to spend nearly three weeks in Malibu for a professional song accompanying program at Pepperdine University. Two of the piano faculty at this program are among the best in the world. Pepperdine is right on the beach. My mom and brother will be there to babysit. I know, life could be worse.
BUT in the meantime, I've spent all my spare time frantically learning the huge pile of music I must have prepared by Friday (eek), resting up to stave off the wretched fatigue of early pregnancy, and well, not knitting. I miss it. I may take a sock along with me to California, but I doubt I'll have enough time and internet access to do much other than check my email.
Don't give up on me! I'll be back on June 26, and I may squeeze in a post of WIPs before I leave, just to hold myself accountable for the pile of projects I've been ignoring. Until then, happy knitting to all of you.
